The More You Give Away, the More They Want What You Have to Sell!
There have been a number of recent discussions about the meaning of "value" and how it relates to consumer behaviour. This article uses two behavioural experiments to discuss the correlation between intrinsic (real) value and perceived value, and their impact on consumer behaviour. It also explores the author's contention that while intrinsic and perceived value are not necessarily the same (although they might be) there is a point at which they coincide and managing that point can mean the difference between securing a lifetime customer and driving them away!CPA
